Kene, the daughter of billionaire businessman, Dr Ernest "Obi Jackson" Obiejesi, married Ugochukwu Okonkwo, son of successful businessman Emma Bishop Okonkwo, in April 2025. Just weeks after their wedding, the pair were guests on Cynthia Obi-Uchendu's podcast to discuss their love alongside media personality, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu. Asked why she married Ugochukwu, Kene said though she had previously blocked him on social media, she unblocked him and married him because he supported her passions. Kene, a content creator, said her husband is not a social media person at all but he understood that she is and didn't try to make her stop creating content. When asked if she loves him, Kene replied, "What does love mean?" She stated that the word "love" has been abused and that was not her motive for marrying her husband.
