A brother and sister have been found guilty of murdering 21-year-old Minister Enfrence following a violent confrontation believed to have stemmed from a petty dispute over cannabis.Isaiah Marsh, 21, and his sister, Mya Marsh, 23, fatally attacked Mr. Enfrence near their home in the Kings Norton area of Birmingham in November 2024.According to CCTV footage presented in court, Isaiah grabbed Mr. Enfrence before Mya joined the assault, eventually handing a knife to her brother. Mr. Enfrence was stabbed over 20 times in the body, arms, hands, and head, and died shortly after the attack.Prosecutors suggested the altercation may have been triggered by Mya feeling she had been kept waiting by Mr. Enfrence, possibly in connection with a cannabis transaction. There was also mention of a dispute involving a damaged bicycle. It seems Mya wanted to buy cannabis, said Jennifer Josephs KC during the trial. It might have been an argument about a damaged bicycle. The two defendants knew Minister before the incident. There is no dispute as to who was there. Much of the CCTV comes from nearby homes.Footage showed Mya shouting while wielding the knife, with Mr. Enfrence clearly unarmed. After the stabbing, the siblings disposed of the murder weapon and their clothes in a wheelie bin.Following the killing, Mya took Mr. Enfrences bicycle and went to work as if nothing had happened. Isaiah later sought treatment at a hospital for injuries to his hands. Mya was arrested the following day, and Isaiah turned himself in shortly after.Both defendants denied murder and manslaughter but were convicted of murder by the jury. Sentencing will take place at a later date.In a tribute, Mr. Enfrences family said:Minister, you have been taken from us so abruptly, and this has left a hole in our hearts that cannot be filled. But we are comforted knowing you are now with the Lord in a better place. We will meet you again in eternity.
