Veteran Nigerian actor and comedian, Afeez Oyetoro, popularly known as Saka, has shared deeply personal stories about his life, marriage, and journey to fame during a recent interview with Chude Jideonwo.Speaking on how his bald signature look started, Saka revealed it was never intentional. When I got to the university, we had a play and the director said that the character must have a bald head. So they scraped my head. After the production, the hair refused to grow again. Now known for his iconic bald appearance, the actor also opened up about his late marriage and how expectations once got in the way of love. The one that I was actually supposed to marry was demanding that I must have two cars, he said, implying that financial expectations made the relationship impossible to continue.Saka eventually got married at the age of 40 and had his first child just before he turned 41.The only difference now is that I am still paying school fees with grey hair, he joked. He also clarified a widespread misconception about his affiliation with telecom giant Etisalat, explaining that contrary to what many believed, he wasnt an ambassador.A lot of people thought I was an ambassador to Etisalat. No, I didn't have any formal or official arrangement. I am just a model for Centaspray, he explained. I actually wanted to go for Glo. I was afraid, but if I breached the contract, maybe I would still be in prison now.The actor spoke further on how people often assume he is snubbing them in public, not knowing hes simply a private person.A lot of people out there believe that I just snubbed them. But I keep repeating it once I leave in front of the camera or I leave the stage, I feel the person I will see.He wrapped up with a word of advice:While you are alive, anything you are doing, make sure that you do it to the best of your ability. I have a little reserve.Saka remains one of Nigerias most beloved comic actors, known for his humorous roles and unforgettable catchphrases.Watch video below View this post on Instagram A post shared by Lindaikejiblog (@lindaikejiblogofficial)
