US President Donald Trump has dismissed online rumors about his health, declaring on Truth Social that he has "never felt better" after several days of speculation fueled by his absence from public events. The rumors escalated when the White House released a blank schedule on Friday, sparking the hashtag TrumpIsDead to trend on X (formerly Twitter). However, Trump was spotted over the weekend golfing at his Virginia resort with his granddaughter, Kai Trump, putting the speculation to rest.
In his Truth Social post, Trump also highlighted what he described as a major achievement a sharp decline in crime in Washington, DC after his administration took control of the citys police department.According to recent reports, violent crime in DC has dropped by 45% compared to the same time last year, while overall crime has declined by 15%. DC Mayor Muriel Bowser acknowledged the improvement, crediting increased law enforcement efforts.
Trump rounded off his message by celebrating early Labor Day festivities and emphasizing the continued strength of the U.S. economy.
