"She has learned the hard way" Mother whose teenage daughter secretly left Abuja in search of her deadbeat father in Lagos narrates how the father treated her

A mother has shared how her teenage daughter went missing and she filed a missing person's report at the police station only to later realise the girl had gone in search of her deadbeat father.  The mother said her teenage daughter left Abuja for Lagos with her father's knowledge,  but they kept it a secret from her, the mother. Eventually, after the police couldn't find the daughter, they suggested she might be with her father and investigation confirmed that she was. The teenager had travelled alone by night bus. She went without a phone or any means of security after her father encouraged her to, the mother said.  The mother said her daughter is now begging to return home after her father, whom she went to see, picked her straight from the Lagos park and abandoned her at a relative's house for months. The girl has not seen her father since then and has been experiencing lack in the house where she was left. The mother said she has been sending supplies to her daughter but has refused to allow her return home. She added that the daughter is now experiencing who her father really is, but she needs to learn the lesson.  See reactions to the post below.
