They were returning from honeymoon - Nigerian woman remembers her sister and brother-in-law on 20th anniversary of Bellview plane crash



A Nigerian woman, Ifeoma Nwuke is honouring her sister, Nkeiru and brother-in-law who d!ed in the tragic Bellview Airlines plane crash 20 years ago.   Nkeiru and her husband, Emeka, were among 117 passengers k!lled in the plane crash which occurred in Lisa Town, Ifo Local council Area of Ogun State on October 22, 2005.   The Boeing 737-200 aircraft, Flight 210 was enroute Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja from Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos when it crashed shortly after takeoff.   Nkeiru and her husband got married a week earlier and were returning to Abuja after their honeymoon in Ghana. "In Loving Memory 20 Years On. At just 22, our beloved sister Nkeiru and her dear spouse Emeka were called home to glory one week after their wedding, returning from their honeymoon in Ghana en route to Abuja from Lagos," Ifeoma wrote.  "They were among those who lost their lives in the Bellview Air Crash, a tragedy that forever marked our hearts. It seemed then like time stopped.. But God wins all the time wounded but not crushed. "A beautiful soul. The wise one. Our super model A wonderful daughter and sister who reflected the best in all of us. "Though her time was brief, her life was full of love, grace, and light that still shines through those she touched. An angel lives among us!! Thanks for your prayers for us!! "May her gentle soul, her spouse, and all who perished in that crash find lasting peace in the Lords embrace. Amen May God continue to comfort our parents, siblings, friends, and all who still hold her memory dear. Forever loved. Forever remembered.
