Incumbent governor and the candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Charles Soludo has been re-elected as the Governor of Anambra State following the declaration of results from all 21 local government areas (LGAs) by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). According to INEC, a total of 584,054 votes were recorded across the state on Saturday, November 8. Soludo, the candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), secured a commanding victory with 422,664 votes, far ahead of his closest rival, Nicholas Ukachukwu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who polled 99,445 votes. Other results include ADC: 8,208 votes and PDP: 1,401 votes.
