Customer collapses and d!es while waiting for food order

A  food outlet in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, was temporarily shut down on Monday morning after a customer suddenly collapsed and died while waiting for his food order.  Authorities have not yet confirmed the identity or age of the man, who reportedly slumped over while seated inside the premises. Eyewitnesses told The Chronicle that the man was sitting quietly when he suddenly became motionless. Another customer noticed his unusual posture and alerted employees, who then called emergency services. Paramedics arrived but pronounced the man dead at the scene. Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Departments Homicide division were called in and conducted an initial assessment. As of 9:45 a.m., the mans body remained inside the outlet, while other customers continued to be served through the main entrance. Police have not released information regarding the cause of death, and an official statement is expected. The outlet has been temporarily closed as investigations continue. Although authorities have not confirmed the location, unverified reports suggest the incident occurred at Chicken Inn. The sudden death sparked shock among residents, with many expressing sympathy and reflecting on the unpredictability of life. Some members of the public also called for broader awareness of emergency response skills such as CPR outside hospital settings.
