Grieving woman reveals words an older woman told her at her father's 10-year remembrance church service after she forgot her scarf

A woman on X has narrated an encounter with an older woman at her late father's 10-year remembrance service. The woman on X explained that the service held today, Nov. 26, in an Anglican church and she rushed to attend only to discover she forgot her scarf at home. This singular act earned her the ire and condemnation of an older female church member. The X user wrote: "Today is my dads 10-year remembrance, and in a very rushed decision I joined my family at the Anglican church ; only to realise Id forgotten my headscarf. "Please tell me why an old woman followed me all the way from Church to Car Park just to say, 'You should have covered your hair. {points to my brother} Its only men who dont have to, because they are like God' "Even in times of grief, I am not spared misogynys interruptions."
