I stole packs of noodles and distributed to my 3 girlfriends but none of them visited me in prison - Adamawa convict laments



A 24-year-old convict, Usama Abdullahi, has lamented that his three girlfriends, who he gave stolen packs of noodles, did not visit him in prison.  Usama, who worked at a car wash was sentenced to community service following the review of a 2-year jail term slammed on him for theft by a court in Shelleng Local Government Area of Adamawa State.  The convict had his sentence reviewed by the Adamawa  State Jail Delivery Committee chaired by the Chief Judge, Adamawa State, Hon. Justice Hafsat Abdulrahman.  Justice Hafsat, reviewed the sentence of the convict when her committee visited Shelleng Satellite Custodial Facility on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 for prison decongestion. She reviewed his sentence from 2 years to community service at the public facility.  On his appearance before the committee, the convict narrated that he stole packs of instant noodles and distributed it to his 3 girlfriends and escaped to Shani where he was arrested.  He regretted that since he landed in prison none of the ladies paid him a visit. Usama said he will end the relationship after regaining his freedom.
