Meghan Markle furiously hits back after magazine shoot accusation

Meghan Markle's spokesperson has angrily denied unfounded claims that she took a designer dress from a photoshoot without permission. In 2022, the Duchess of Sussex wore a forest green one-shoulder gown by the designer Galvan for a photoshoot with Variety magazine. Now, three years on, eagle-eyed fashion watchers noted that Meghan is wearing the same 1,300 dress in the latest promo for the holiday special of her Netflix show With Love, Meghan.  In the promo for her show, which is set to hit Netflix next week, Meghan can be seen in the dress, lighting candles at a table dressed for dinner. After realising it was the same dress, an unsubstantiated rumour alleged that the Duchess had taken the designer piece home from the shoot, without asking permission.  However, her spokesperson hit back at the rumour saying: "The insinuation that any items were taken without the full knowledge and agreement of the on-set stylists or their respective teams is not only categorically false but also highly defamatory. Any items kept were done so in total transparency and in accordance with contractual arrangements." In addition, a source told the Express that it is "commonplace and prudent" for items from photoshoots to be kept to avoid people auctioning off garments for large sums of money in the future.
