Chad Ollinger, a cast member of Discovery Channels Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch, has been charged with murder following the death of his cellmate at a Las Vegas detention facility, authorities have confirmed. According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, corrections officers at the Clark County Detention Center discovered an unresponsive male inmate during a routine check on Friday. Officers who entered the cell observed that the inmate had sustained apparent blunt-force injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said Ollinger, who shared the cell with the deceased, was immediately taken into custody. Investigators later determined that a physical altercation had occurred between Ollinger and the victim inside the cell prior to the inmates death. A spokesperson for the Clark County Detention Center confirmed that Ollinger has now been charged with open murder. Ollinger had already been in custody since October after being arrested as a fugitive from another state. He is also facing a separate contempt of court charge related to that case.
