A man has been k!lled during an argument over a phone charger in Ihiala, Anambra State. The man, identified as Chisom Uba, engaged in a confrontation with a cousin named Chukwuemeka Uba on December 17. Chisom, 20, had earlier lent his cousin a phone charger. A disagreement, however, ensued when Chisom went to collect the charger. This degenerated into a violent fight, during the which the cousin allegedly stabbed Chisom multiple times. The suspects father, Kenneth Uba, who is Chisoms uncle, joined in the attack, leading to his eventual de@th.

Chisom had reportedly lent out the charger to his cousin and later went to collect it, but there was a disagreement, and his cousin stabbed him multiple times during the fight. It was also reported that the cousins father (Chisoms uncle) joined in the attack. The platform added that both the uncle and the cousin were later arrested, while youths in the community allegedly set the uncles house ablaze.
A video circulating online shows the deceased lying on a hospital bed as his relatives cried over his body. Speaking in front of the burnt house of the culprits, Chisoms bereaved mother, Prophetess Ebere Uba said, "Because of charger, they took my child inside and k!lled him. They k!lled him inside the room with a knife. A new knife. The youths brough the knife out of the room."
