Solomon Chukwudi Onah, the man who rescued a m8rder suspect, Em3ka Emmanuel Nwangwu, from an angry mob in Enugu has opened up on what transpired at the police station. LIB reported that the Enugu State Police Command, through operatives of the Nsukka Urban Division, with the support of Neighbourhood Watch Group, on Monday, December 1, 2025 arrested Nwangwu, 51, for the gruesome m8rder of his maternal cousin, Loveth Uloma Nwangwu, aged 19. According to the spokesperson of the command, SP Daniel Ndukwe, the deceased had earlier reported a Case of defilement, sexu@l abuse, abd#ction, and threat to life against the suspect on 28th November 2025 to Umabor Division. Loveth alleged that she had been living with the suspect since 2019, at age 13, after the de@th of his wife, and that he had restricted her communication with family and friends and subjected her to sexu@l abuse. The suspect, a member of the Neighbourhood Security Watch Group, forced his way into a pharmacy where the victim was receiving treatment, assaulted her, and struck her head repeatedly on the floor, k!lling her. Solomon Onah said he rescued the suspect from the mob and drove him to Nsukka police station. According to him, immediately they arrived at the station, the suspect called someone on the phone, telling the person that he k!lled the girl. He expressed regret for rescuing the suspect after realising the gravity of his offence. When I approached the mob, I never knew the gravity of the matter was that high. Jungle justice was never my thing. But I regret intervening on this one. It's a shameful scenario involving two officers of the law; a DPO and a CSO," he wrote. When I realized the heaviness of the incident, Emma was already with the Area Commander. Right in front of the Area Commander, the Nsukka Urban DPO, the Eha-Alumona DPO, some police officers, and many of us who helped to bring him to the Area Command, the idiot had the audacity to call someone (allegedly to be the Nsukka LG Chaiman) shouting Mayor!, I've seen the girl, I've k!lied her he wrote.
