Colombian influencer Karen Sofa Quiroz Ramrez has died following a motorcycle accident that occurred last week near Floridablanca, north of Bogot. According to Transport Official Jahir Andrs Castellanos Prada, paramedics tried to revive the 25-year-old at the scene but she was already deceased when they arrived. Authorities say investigations are still ongoing, but the initial report suggests she attempted to pass between two vehicles, lost control, hit a car, and then fell under the wheels of a lorry. Karen, known for her daring motorcycle content online, often rode in bra tops and without a protective jacket. She also shared videos of herself riding hands-free on her pink-and-black bike. Hours before the crash, she made a post expressing concern about riding without her glasses, writing, I hope I dont crash because Im driving without my glasses. Officials say head trauma is a likely cause of death, though a final report has not been released. Head injuries remain the leading cause of death in motorcycle crashes globally. Transport Official Prada told DailyMail that investigators will review CCTV footage, speak with witnesses, and assess whether other drivers involved share any responsibility. Karen had built a strong following on Instagram, posting photos and videos of herself riding her Gixxer 150, travelling in bikinis, and showing her colorful tattoos. Her sudden passing has sparked conversations about motorcycle safety, especially as global data shows that motorcyclists account for nearly a quarter of traffic deaths worldwide. She was 25.
