The Nigeria Police Complaint unit has reacted to a viral video showing a lady crying out for help after some police officers allegedly ass@ulted her and her family members while travelling to the East,Yesterday, around 3pm, I was illegally detained and ass@ulted by officers of the Nigeria Police Force. I was forcefully taken from Aba to Umuahia against my will. My phone was seized, preventing me from calling anyone for help. This was a clear abuse of power and violation of my rights.While being transported, the officer driving my vehicle was reckless, dangerously overtaking a police bus, This reckless action led to a serious accident. The car lost control, spun and crashed into the bush.My vehicle was badly damaged and my life was put at risk.This incident is completely unacceptable and I am calling on the Abia state government to immediately investigate this incident, hold the officers involved fully accountable, take responsibility for the damage to my vehicle.'' the man who owned the vehicle wrote on social media Reacting to the viral video, the Police complaint unit via its X handle condemned the action of the police.
