Remaining abducted Niger State Catholic schoolchildren and teachers regain freedom (video)

The remaining students and teachers abducted from St. Marys Catholic Primary and Secondary School , Papiri, in Agwara Local Government Area of Niger State, have regained their freedom.  A security official familiar with the rescue operation confirmed that those released account for all the remaining victims abducted during the attack on the school.  Suspected terrorists on November 21, 2025, stormed the school and abducted a total of 303 pupils, students and staff.  The attackers reportedly operated for nearly three hours, moving systematically from one dormitory to another before marching their captives into nearby forests. About 50 pupils managed to escape from captivity within the first 24 hours and were reunited with their families. The Federal Government on December 8, secured the release of 100 more abductees early this month, leaving an unspecified number in captivity until the latest breakthrough. Sources said the freed students and teachers are currently being transported to Minna, the Niger State capital, where they are expected to undergo medical checks and reunite with their families. As of the time of filing this report, neither the Federal Government nor the Niger State Government has issued an official statement on the development.       View this post on Instagram           A post shared by Lindaikejiblog (@lindaikejiblogofficial) The post Remaining abducted Niger State Catholic schoolchildren and teachers regain freedom (video) appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
