A tense scene unfolded in Plateau State's Shendam Local Government Area, but thanks to the swift actions of troops from Sector 9's Operation Safe Haven, a potentially disastrous mob justice situation was averted. In the village of Gidan Mangoro, a suspect was being held by an angry crowd, who were on the verge of taking matters into their own hands - literally. Luckily, the troops arrived just in time to disperse the mob and rescue the suspect from a life-threatening situation. The suspect was then taken into custody for further questioning, reportedly in connection with a string of kidnappings in the area.
