It's not just Jamie Carragher who has it out for Casemiro after tonight's showing at Selhurst Park. Fans on X (formerly Twitter) also believe that it is time for him to move away from Old Trafford in the summer - despite having the armband in the absence of Bruno Fernandes.

Since Andersen scored the winner at Old Trafford in September, Crystal Palace have been struggling at the wrong end of the table, and changed manager. Now they're flying again, and hit Man United for four on their own patch. Their first double victory over the Red Devils in the league - and they did it with some style at Selhurst Park tonight.

Two Man United flops scored just 3/10 after the horror of their 4-0 defeat at Selhurst Park, while Michael Olise shines for Crystal Palace. Chris Wheeler was in South London to run the numbers for both sides.

Referee Jarred Gillett made history by wearing the RefCam for the first time in the Premier League.

The footage will be used for educational purposes by both clubs, IFAB, PGMOL and the Premier League.

Crystal Palace may ask the officials to use this system for all their games from this point on. For Man United, they have a lot to learn from Selhurst Park - and they probably don't need the referee's vantage point to figure out what went wrong.

If Crystal Palace can sustain their current form for the whole of next season, they're going to be a team to watch out for. But how many of their stars can they hold on to...

And deservedly so.

They've moved six points clear of 15th-placed Everton, with just two games to go. And they're a point behind Fulham and three behind Wolves - they might still jump up the Premier League table.

And throughout the week as well.

Piers Morgan trolled Rio Ferdinand following the fourth goal tonight - and the ex-Man United defender had no idea how to respond, so he said he was going to sleep.

I'm sure there'll still be criticism of Man United tomorrow...

Will Man United get into Europe? Tonight's defeat took their goal difference back into negative figures, and they are still stuck in eighth place, equal on points with Chelsea, and two behind Newcastle in sixth.

They will need to get points on the board and climb the table if they want to ensure a European berth by the Premier League route - otherwise it's all down to Wembley on May 25.

Eze didn't get on the scoresheet, and with a 4-0 win, he didn't really need to, but he was still disappointed with his own finishing.

He told Sky Sports: 'I've missed a few chances today, probably not as clinical as I should have been.'

Manchester United dominated possession, with 58%, but have nothing to show for it.

Palace had 18 shots, 10 on target, while the Red Devils got just two of their seven shots on goal.

Man United had an xG of 0.35, while Palace turned their 1.47xG into four goals.

Crystal Palace had 36 touches in the Man United box, more than double the figure the other way around (16).

Jamie Carragher echoed the same sentiment on Sky Sports, saying: 'That is absolutely fantastic from United fans because those players don't deserve that. That is unbelievable support.'

The draw against Burnley got followed by tonight's humiliation in south-east London.

Erik ten Hag will have to sharpen up the minds of their players, if they want to get into Europe.

They host Arsenal and Newcastle before their final league game against Brighton.

It may require a victory in the FA Cup final on May 25 to get into a UEFA tournament next season - and Manchester City won't make that easy.

What a night for Palace!

Glasner said before the game he wanted to finish the season unbeaten - and based on tonight's performance, that sounds like a reasonable ambition.

The Eagles travel to Wolves on Saturday afternoon, and host Aston Villa on the final day of the season. They're not going to be easy tests, but this Palace side have proven themselves tonight.

Crystal Palace do the league double over Manchester United for the first time - and it was never in any doubt at all.

Olise with two, Mateta and Mitchell with the others.

Eduoard curls a beautiful shot from inside the box, which leaves Onana stranded, but it hits the post and bounces away. Crystal Palace very nearly sealed this one in style!

Crystal Palace look more likely to get the next goal, but one ball across the box was deflected out of an Eagles player's path, and another forced a good save.

I'm sure Olise will be gutted to miss out on the chance of a hat-trick, but he'd definitely have taken two in a four-nil rout at the beginning of the night.

The two star men for Palace make way, and Ayew and Schlupp will have five minutes plus stoppage time.

More changes for the Red Devils. Not to be for Mount or Hojlund today, and two youngsters are on for the final few minutes at Selhurst Park.

Guehi is making his first appearance back since injury - and he's able to play the final 13 minutes or so plus stoppages with the Eagles four goals to the good.

Glasner made two changes straight after their fourth goal. Mateta and Hughes were withdrawn, and Edouard and Riedewald were introduced for the final 20 minutes or so.

Amrabat only came on a few minutes ago, but he's been booked for a ferocious challenge.

Glasner protests that it is a tackle worthy of more than just a yellow card. He does so by stepping out of the technical area, so he gets a caution as well.

Bizarre chance for a fifth, and Casemiro has to race across to clear a loose ball from danger. But it won't save his reputation from this one...

That is a special strike from Olise. This is a special night for the Eagles.

Munoz gets the ball off Casemiro - who makes a theatrical dive - and squares it to Olise, who curls in an excellent goal, to make it 4-0.

This first change looked it was coming before the third goal. Antony is taken off by Erik ten Hag, and Sofyan Amrabat is tasked with seeing out the final half an hour of this one.

It's a third for the Eagles! They've forced two good saves out of Onana in quick succession, but they're finally rewarded with a another goal for their troubles.

Wharton's cross is nudged across the six yard box by Andersen - and Tyrick Mitchell is in the right place to put it away. Crystal Palace 3-0 up and deservedly so.

Twice the captain has been thwarted by a goal being disallowed - but his performances have also drawn serious ire, especially from Jamie Carragher, who thinks he should have been hooked at the break.

Casemiro has a second goal ruled out - following the first one for an infringement on the goalkeeper, the second is for offside. The footage shows he's far off.

The ball came in from an Eriksen free kick, which Casemiro headed against the post, before following in to bundle it home - but all to no avail.

Ball whipped in from the left hand side by Munoz, Eze takes a shot, but it's comfortable enough for Onana to save. A good opportunity for Palace to make it three though.

No changes from either side, and we're back underway.

Is there nothing to say? Did he do it in double quick time? We'll see when things get going for this second half..

Crystal Palace are making this look easy, and seem to be coasting. They're the team that look like they should be on the European stage.

If Erik ten Hag wants to be sure of his job this summer, this half-time team-talk is going be a crucial part of going the right way about it. As it's not a strong Man United bench, so he will need a change of mindset from those who started at Selhurst Park...

Two minutes into stoppage time, and another long ball for Palace, and Eze shoots well wide - unless he was trying to cross it. It was that kind of ball..

Eriksen sends a free kick into the box from close to the half way line,but this time Casemiro's looping header goes over the bar, not challenging the goalkeeper at all.

They'll need to be a lot more clinical if they want to turn this around...

Mateta one-v-one against Jonny Evans, fools him to dart left, then race into the box and blast it home past a helpless Onana.

Two nil to the Eagles. Manchester United's players look shellshocked. They need half-time pronto...

I wonder what the pundits will make of that disallowed goal at half-time. Will it change the course of tonight's game?

Danes go head-to-head, with Palace defender Andersen - who split the two sides in September - bringing down his compatriot Hojlund. It's not a booking though, just a free-kick to the Red Devils.

Palace go straight up the other end and almost double their advantage. Henderson's long ball finds Olise, who tries to go round the Man United keeper, but Onana does enough to block it.

Eriksen takes a free kick from the edge of the box, which is deflected over.

From the resulting corner, Casemiro sends a looping header into the net, but the referee takes a breath, and then rules it out.

Rasmus Hojlund is judged to have fouled Henderson as they both jumped for the ball. Touch-and-go decision - I've seen them given.

Palace find a spare man in the Manchester United penalty area, but Olise's shot is straight at Onana, who comfortably saves it.

The hosts looking more likely to strike again though...

More encouraging signs from Palace, who come forward, and Olise has a chance from the middle of the penalty area, but it hits Mateta. Onana may have got across to deal with it, but it was hard to be certain.

Mainoo to Mount, who attempts to play it through to Hojlund, but the final ball doesn't quite work, and Henderson can easily deal with the loose ball

Palace earn a free kick on the edge of the centre circle. They set up to launch it forward, but Richards was unable to control his header and it trickles out for a goal kick.

Mason Mount looks to control the ball on the edge of the box, but his half-hearted attempt at a shot is easily blocked.

What can Erik ten Hag and Man United do now?

He was on the scoresheet the last time Man United were at Crystal Palace, and he's done it again.

The Eagles are in front within 12 minutes - like they were in the first half against the Red Devils in September. They held on for a 1-0 then... that might not work this time around.

Some great footwork from Olise, and he opens up a gap through the Manchester United defence. He finds the space to shoot low and past Onana for his 8th PL goal of the season.

Eze is so good with the ball at his feet, spinning on the edge of the box in the hope of making enough space for an opportunity. Casemiro's equal to it though, and it amounts to nothing.

A relatively cagey start to proceedings in south-east London so far...

Mainoo tries to hit the ball forward to Mount, but it's slightly too long, and goes out for a Palace goal kick.

Mitchell runs into the box, but is brought down by Evans. There are half-hearted shouts for a Palace penalty, but the replays show the Man United defender got the ball.

Crystal Palace get an early corner. Wharton takes it short, and Eze is tackled by Mason Mount.

The action at Selhurst Park is imminent.

Young: 'He's been stop start, he's had injuries. When you start at Man United you either sink or swim. He wants to get on the pitch now and show what we saw at Chelsea.'

Carragher: 'I'm a fan of Mason Mount. For me, Mount is a player you play in a 4-3-3. He's in a number ten role, Bruno's not playing. In terms of going forward, Fernandes has to play, I'm still not sure next season how that works to get both players in the same team.'

Man United have been without Bruno Fernandes for just five matches since he joined in 2020 - although they have won three of those.

Erik ten Hag will need his side to get off to the right start, as their bench is not that strong on experience, and includes two goalkeepers to make up the numbers...

Could this be one of Michael Olise's final appearances in a Crystal Palace shirt?

Newcastle are interested in pursuing him this summer, while Chelsea and PSG may also be options, as they were looking into the Frenchman last year.

Interim CEO Jean-Claude Blanc has arrived at Selhurst Park for this evening's kick off.

Since the start of the calendar year, Manchester United's defensive figures have rivalled the worst teams in the Premier League. It feels more like a relegation campaign, not one that could still end in European qualification.

Can they shore up their backline for their final games of the season?

The Eagles have a record of 29 home goals in a Premier League season, set in 2017-18.

They're currently on 28, so a goal tonight would equal that record, and two would break it.

They also host Aston Villa on the final day of the season in their quest for a new Crystal Palace home record.

The visitors have posted a behind-the-scenes video from Selhurst Park - showing Evans and co will wear white shirts for the game.

Captain Bruno Fernandes misses out entirely, so Casemiro has the armband for Man United.

Jonny Evans comes in for the injured Maguire, while Mason Mount makes his first time in seven months.

It's only the sixth time that Eze and Olise have been named in the same starting XI - and they can support the flying Mateta up front.

Centre-back Marc Guehi is also named among the substitutes for the first time since February.

Manchester United have been hampered by their injuries this season - with Maguire joining a long list of issues for the club.

Several of their long-term absentees have been left-sided defenders, and Ashley Young noted that you have to 'factor that in'.

He added: 'There should be players able to come in and take those positions. You can have players that come in and take those roles.'

Team news for both sides coming in the next 15 minutes or so.

However, Man United will be without Harry Maguire, who is ruled out for three weeks after picking up a muscle injury in training.

Its touch-and-go whether he'll be back in time for the FA Cup final at the end of May - although it is not expected to jeopardise his role at the Euros.

Crystal Palace have never done the league double over the Red Devils.

But Man United have failed to win on their last three PL visits to Selhurst Park, drawing two and losing one.

Erik ten Hag's side have a rotten record in London this term, with defeats at Spurs, Arsenal, West Ham and Chelsea. Can they avoid five capital losses in one season?

The reverse league game was played all the way back on the last day of September, and it was a happy trip for the Eagles.

Joachim Andersen hooked a great finish into the top-right hand corner of Onana's net from ten yards out.

That game's only goal came in the 25th minute. Will something similar happen tonight?

For the visitors tonight, it's a crunch encounter in their bid for European football.

If Erik ten Hag stays in his job - and the question marks have been flying for some time now - he wants another big-spending summer to try and help them push up the table and challenge those at the summit.

Starting in 8th place, a win today would move them up to 6th - but a draw would only take them back above Chelsea, after the Blues thumped West Ham yesterday.

Back to one of Moyes' former clubs in Man United. The Red Devils face a tough challenge tonight against Crystal Palace.

The hosts will be one of the teams hoping the season doesn’t end after a fine run of form under Glasner.

The Eagles are on their longest unbeaten run in the Premier League season having gone four matches without defeat.

The run includes victories over Liverpool, Newcastle and West Ham, as well as a draw with Fulham last time out.

Palace are bidding to win a third consecutive home match this evening.

Sticking with West Ham for the moment, let me point you in the direction of Mail Sport's chief sports writer Oliver Holt's latest column.

He writes that the Hammers handling of Moyes' exit has been 'grubby and unpleasant' given his success at the club.
