How to apply for Nigerian Army recruitment

The Nigerian Army has announced the commencement of the recruitment application process for non-tradesmen and women.

The Army announced on its official X account on Friday, stating that the application is free and starts from May 3 to May 4, 2024.

The post read, “This is to inform the general public and all interested applicants that online application for 87 Regular Recruits Intake for Non-Tradesmen and Women has commenced.

“Application starts from 3rd May-7th June 2024.”

Below is a step-by-step way of applying:

Visit https://recruitment.army.mil.ng Complete the online application form Submit it online and print a copy Fill out the Guarantor Form Application period: May 3, 2024, to June 7, 2024.

Basic Requirements:

Nigerian citizenship by birth National Identity Card/NIN slip Medically, physically, and psychologically fit No criminal convictions Valid birth certificate/age declaration Certificate of state of origin Height requirement: Male – 1.68 metres, Female – 1.65 metres Age: 18 to 22 years for non-trades, up to 26 years for tradesmen/women by June 30, 2024 Minimum of four passes in WASSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB Trade Test/City Guild Certificate for tradesmen/women

Minimum Educational Qualification

All applicants must have WASCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB.
In addition to the above qualification, those applying as tradesmen/women must also possess a Trade Test/City Guild Certificate.
