A man aged in his 40s has died following a serious medical emergency at a popular waterpark in Devon on Wednesday.
Paramedics and police officers rushed to Splashdown Quaywest in Paignton, Devon at around lunchtime.
An air ambulance, multiple land ambulances and police all scrambled to the waterpark in a huge emergency services response.
South West Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust initially said one patient had been taken to hospital.
But now Devon and Cornwall police has confirmed a man has died.

A spokesman said: 'Despite the best efforts of those at the scene the man, in his 40s and from the Bristol area, later died.
'His next of kin have been informed and a file is to be prepared for the coroner.'
A spokesman for Splashdown Waterparks has confirmed to MailOnline that the medical emergency did not happen on any of the park's attractions. The Quaywest attraction can claim to be the UK's biggest outdoor waterpark and is situated right on the beach in the idyllic English Riveria.
A spokesperson for South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust said: 'We were called at 12:04 to a medical emergency in the Paignton area.
'We sent two double-crewed land ambulances, an air ambulance and an operations officer to the scene.
Following the incident the park was closed and visitors were asked to leave
'One patient has been conveyed by land to Torbay Hospital. This incident does not involve a minor.'
A statement from Splashdown Waterparks reads: 'We are aware of an incident at Splashdown Quaywest waterpark that occurred approximately 12.15pm today. The person concerned is receiving medical attention from paramedics.
'We do not have any further details at present but we have taken the decision to close the waterpark today.
'We will be sending an email to anyone who is booked in to the park this afternoon and we are trying to contact by telephone where possible.
'If we do not get you before you leave then we are sorry but it is not something we could plan for or expect, we hope you understand that we will be doing our best.
'Until we have any information to release having conducted and consulted with any of the necessary authorities we would appreciate being left to deal with an unfolding situation and respect the privacy of the individual concerned and their family.
'We recognise that this incident may have caused some upset among our visitors and apologise for any distress that this may have caused, however, in an emergency the safety and well being of the person concerned was paramount due to the seriousness of the situation that presented itself.'
