Footage has captured the moment a mother cried tears of joy after her quadriplegic son was taken to a brothel after not feeling the touch of a woman for 12 years.
Gail and her son Jake visited Le Penthouse Suites at Tweed Heads, in NSW, while filming a video with famous fisherman Willem Powerfish.
The topic of Jake's sex life had come up in conversation when the group were out on a fishing trip moments earlier.
'I asked Jake's mum about his girlfriends and she told me he hadn't been with anyone since his accident,' Powerfish explained.
'So I brought it up with his mum to take him to the brothel.'
Jake's life drastically changed after he was involved in a horrific crash with the young man confined to a wheelchair and only able to control his mouth and thumbs.
The trio, along with Jake's carer and best mate, were on Jake's first fishing trip in 12 years when his mother made the heartbreaking admission about his love life.

Powerfish decided to cut the fishing trip short and instead offered to take Jake to a nearby brothel.
'You can decide if you like the woman or not, if you don't like it you don't have to do it but I'm very happy to shout you a session,' he told Jake.
Footage shows Jakes going into the brothel while his mum commented on how 'happy' he looked and thanked Powerfish.
Gail later teared up when she recalled what the woman said after Jake's session.
'She said she did a few things and then it was very erect so she got on top and he did the whole thing,' she said.
'Thank you [Powerfish], so much.'
Le Penthouse Suites bills itself as the most 'premium brothel on the Gold Coast' that offers 'the most luxurious and erotic sexual experiences'.
The venue includes a 'punishment room' and 'The Manhattan Club Strip Club'.
Powerfish later explained his conversation with Gail about taking Jake to a brothel where she'd admitted they'd never discussed it.
'I asked Gail, you know, have you taken him to one of those places and she said no,' he said.
'She'd never actually brought it up with him in 12 years.'

Jake's friend, Kyle, recalled how the tragic car crash unfolded.
'The night Jake got hurt he range me about 2.30am and said, "I'm coming over",' he said.
'It was New Year's, 2012, and I said, "No, we're already in bed and you shouldn't be driving".
'I think an hour or two later someone found him on the side of the road, [he'd] hit a power pole.
'I try to tell everyone he's still the same bloke, he might be able to run around and do the same sh** we do but he can still laugh at it, you know?'

Before his internet fame, Powerfish worked in disability care and saw first hand how families often struggle to broach the topic of sexuality.
'I used to work in disability support and one of our patients had cerebral palsy and we used to take him to the brothel,' he said.
'I'm hoping people who see this and do have family members with impairments of any sort... We're all human and we all have needs.'
