A judge has reportedly denied DDGs motion to stop exgirlfriend, Halle Bailey from leaving the country with their son, Halo. The rapper and streamers request for a temporary restraining order against actress and singer, Bailey was denied on Thursday (June 5), according to TMZ. This allows her to freely leave the country with their one-year-old son for personal or business reasons. "I must be on set in Italy to film a movie," Halle said in court documents she filed in response to DDG on June 4. "I am contractually bound to be there from June 7, 2025, to August 4, 2025. Darryl has known about this work obligation for months. This is my source of income, on which Halo and I rely to pay all bills." The filing, which has been viewed by Complex, continued, "Darryl has not contributed any regular support since Halo was born. I will be held liable for damages to this film ifI am not there, which I believe would be a breach of my contract. I cannot leave Halo with Darryl, as Darryl will be out of town a majority of those months. Halo is also a protected person by the Court's Temporary Restraining Order." On May 13, a judge granted Halle temporary sole legal custody of Halo and a restraining order barring DDG from being within 100 yards of her. In her paperwork, she alleged physical and verbal abuse and accused her ex of riling up his fanbase to send her online hate. She was scheduled to travel to Italy with Halo for a two-month gig on Saturday, June 7. Halos dad filed his response petition on the day Halles TRO expired June 4. In court documents, Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr. asserted that Halle poses an imminent emotional and psychological risk to the minor child based on repeated, documented threats of self-harm. He sought for her travel to be limited to California. He wanted her to turn in Halos passport to his lawyer, Larry Bakman, by June 16. The father also declared his belief that Bailey could abduct Halo. That belief is allegedly based on a history of: abusing [DDG], child abuse, taking away or hiding [Halo], threatening to take away or hide [Halo] and not cooperating in parenting. DDG requested that the judge bar Halle Bailey from exhibiting abuse. Some examples were: harassment, threats, assault, stalking, property destruction, surveillance, and online impersonation. He also requested a no-contact order and a stay-away order of 100 yards away for Halo, himself, his home, workplace, or job. The streamer asked the judge to allow him to record calls or communications with Halle. DDG also wanted the judge to prevent Bailey from looking for his and Halos living addresses or locations. Additionally, he asked the judge to prevent Halle from relocating without his or the courts permission.
