Nigerian lawyer and the immediate past Chairperson of International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) Nigeria, Rivers State Branch, Adata Bio-Briggs, has advised people to leave their abusive spouses stating that they dont need any permission. She stated this in a Facebook post on Sunday. I have been saying this and will keep repeating it. You do not need the permission of an abusive spouse to move out. Just move, she wrote.
