Actress Bukola Arugba calls out Kwara First Lady over comments on church attack in Eruku

Nigerian actress Bukola Arugba has openly challenged the Kwara State First Lady, Olufolake Abdulrazaq, over her description of the recent church attack in Eruku, Ekiti LGA of Kwara State. The tragic incident happened during a live-streamed programme at a branch of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) on Tuesday, November 18, 2025. Two people were confirmed dead, one injured, while several worshippers including the pastor were abducted. In a video shared on her Instagram page, Bukola Arugba criticised the First Lady for referring to the incident as an attempted attack. She insisted the description did not reflect the reality of what happened. The actress, who is from Eruku community, said three of her family members her aunty Titi Balogun and her cousins Ebenezer and Aina were abducted and are still with their captors. Watch video below
