Coming from someone whose father was called a thief by his principal and indicted - Comedian Seyi Law defends President Bola Tinubu after Atiku Abubakar’s son called him a drug baron

Nigerian comedian and actor Seyi Law has fired back at Shehu Abubakar, the son of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, after Shehus viral post referred to President Bola Tinubu as a drug baron. Seyi Law, a known supporter of President Tinubu, took to his verified X account to defend the President and hit back at Shehus family background, writing: This is coming from someone whose father was called a thief by his principal and indicted as a money launderer in the US. Someone whose father deleted his handlers tweet about the extra-judicial killing of Deborah. Na really wa.  The comedians response came after Shehu Abubakar questioned Nigerians upset with former U.S. President Donald Trump for calling Nigeria disgraceful, saying: When they announced a drug baron as our President, what do you call that? Prideful? The exchange comes amid rising political tension following Trumps controversial statement threatening military action against Nigeria over the killing of Christians. The comment has reignited fierce debates across social media, with Tinubus supporters and critics clashing over the nations image and leadership.
