The nominations for the 2026 Grammy Awards have been announced, with top Nigerian artistes making the list. Nigerian artistes, Davido, Omah Lay, Burna Boy, Ayra Starr, and Wiz Kid. earned nominations for the 68th Annual Grammy Awards With You, a song by Davido featuring Omah Lay is nominated in the Best African Music Performance alongside 'Love,' a song by Burna Boy, and Gimme Dat, a song by Ayra Starr Featuring Wizkid. Other contenders include Hope & Love by Ugandas Eddy Kenzo and Mehran Matin, and PUSH 2 START by South Africas Tyla. Burna Boy also bagged another nomination in the Best Global Music Album category for No Sign of Weakness. In the Best Global Music Album category, Burna Boy is competing against Senegalese legend Youssou NDour (Eclairer le Monde Light the World), Beninese icon Anglique Kidjo (Jerusalema in the performance category), and Indias Anoushka Shankar (Chapter III: We Return to Light). The award ceremony will take place on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. The event will celebrate recordings released between August 31, 2024, and August 30, 2025.
