A Journalist fell 80ft to her de@th while taking a photograph of a beauty spot from a 'crumbling' cliffside staircase in Argentina. Journalist Leticia Lembi d!ed after plunging from the cliff in Barranca de Los Lobos in Mar del Plata, Argentina, on Wednesday, November 26. She is said to have been visiting the area with family and friends when the tragedy occurred. It was gathered that Leticia was standing on a deteriorated concrete platform and an old staircase leading down to the beach when she lost her balance and fell around 25 metres (82 feet) onto the rocks below. Firefighters, paramedics, and police officers rushed to the scene, but she was pronounced dead at the scene. Rescue teams confirmed the impact would have been instantly fatal and mounted an operation to recover the body from the base of the cliff as the tide advanced. Prosecutor Carlos Russo also attended the scene and has classified the incident as an accidental death, El Pais reported.

Just hours before her de@th, Leticia had posted a photograph of her smiling while on a visit to a vineyard around 10 miles away from the beach. 'Here, playing the wine woman,' the 33-year-old wrote in an Instagram story showing her at Costa&Pampa, the country's first ocean winery. Leticia was from Tres Arroyos, around 170 miles away from the scene of the incident, and held a degree in Journalism and Social Communication from the National University of La Plata. Leticia, who was also a digital marketer, previously worked as a correspondent for the local newspaper La Voz del Pueblo in 2020.
