Singer Waje confirms she’s engaged, opens up on love, age and past struggles

Nigerian music star Aituaje Iruobe, popularly known as Waje, has confirmed that she is officially engaged. The 45-year-old singer revealed the news during an interview with Hip TV in Lagos, simply saying, I am actually engaged, without sharing further details about her partner. The identity of her fianc remains unknown, but Waje has previously spoken about the kind of man shes willing to settle down with. In an earlier interview, she stated clearly that she cannot marry an unsuccessful man, explaining that at her age she doesnt have the time or capacity to endure the uncertainties that come with a struggling partner.
