Ex-music teacher accused of gro0ming and having s£xual relationship with high school student

A former Connecticut teacher has been taken into custody over allegations she engaged in an inappropriate relationship with a student several years ago. According to records obtained by Fox News Digital, 39-year-old Ciara Picard, a former music instructor at Maloney High School in Meriden has been charged with five counts of second-degree sxual ass@ult. An unsealed arrest warrant cited by News 8 Daily News provides additional details about the case. Investigators launched a probe after receiving claims that Picard had been involved in a sexual relationship with a former male student. Reports indicate she initially met him when he was 13 and one of her students. The relationship was said to have become sexual by the time the student reached his junior year. According to an arrest warrant, a pattern of grooming and inappropriate contact followed. The victim, now 25 years old, said Picard began grooming him when he was a freshman. Over time, the communications were said to have become personal and frequent and took place after school hours.  The warrant described a trip to New York City for a concert. During that trip, Picard reportedly told the student, who was 16 at the time, Ive always wanted to kiss you, before initiating their first kiss. Investigators said Picard also bought the student expensive dinners and gifts, and exchanged sxually explicit messages and photos with him. The victim recounted instances in which Picard visited his home after school when his family was not there. Text messages reviewed by investigators included explicit statements from Picard, including one message that said how bad she wanted the victim and the acts she wished to perform. When detectives interviewed Picard Aug. 26, she initially denied wrongdoing but later admitted that her interactions with the student had definitely crossed the line. She also allegedly confessed to telling the student she loved him, characterizing the relationship as not OK. Picard surrendered to police Dec. 2, was released on $25,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 16, according to NBC Connecticut. The post Ex-music teacher accused of gro0ming and having sxual relationship with highschoolstudent appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
