Police arrest suspect over m8rder of 25-year-old man in Kebbi



The Kebbi State Police Command has arrested a 20-year-old suspect in connection with robbery and m8rder of a young man whose body was found in a forest in Ngaski Local Government Area of the state. The victim, identified as Ibrahim Yahaya, 25, was found d3ad on December 16, 2025, in Bakin Dutsi Forest, a remote area of Ngaski LGA.  The spokesperson of the command, SP Bashir Usman, who disclosed this in a statement on Thursday, December 18, said the suspect Aminu Adamu, was allegedly found in possession of a Haojue motorcycle believed to have been stolen from the deceased.  The Kebbi State Police Command confirms the arrest of a suspect in connection with a case of robbery and homicide involving one Ibrahim Yahaya M, aged 25, whose lifeless body was discovered on December 16, 2025, at about 0830hrs in Bakin Dutsi Forest, Ngaski Local Government Area, the statement read. "Acting on credible intelligence and following swift investigative efforts, the Police arrested one Aminu Adamu M, aged 20, of Yauri Local Government Area, at about 1420hrs in possession of the Haojue motorcycle earlier robbed from the deceased.  "In line with the directive of the Commissioner of Police, the matter has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for a thorough investigation.  "The Command wishes to reassure members of the public that the situation is under control, with proactive measures in place to sustain peace and public safety across the State. Residents are encouraged to go about their lawful activities and to continue supporting the Police with timely and useful information. The post Police arrest suspect over m8rder of 25-year-old man in Kebbi appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
