A suspected cultist identified simply as Osemudiamen has confessed to k!lling his sisters baby in Edo State while under the influence of alcohol and a hard substance. The suspect confessed to the crime on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 while he was interrogated by security operatives. In the video, posted on X by the anti-cultism advocacy platform Naija Confra, Osemudiamen admitted that he was intoxicated at the time of the attack. I am here because I k!lled my sisters baby. I got high with drinks and colos. It was Fredrick who gave me the colos. I met him on the way and saw him smoking, he said. The suspect further disclosed that he is a member of the Aye confraternity and had been planning to renounce his membership before the incident. He added that although he had contacted a lawyer for assistance, he could not afford the legal fees. "I am a member of the Aiye confraternity, and I was going to deaxe myself. I even have a lawyer who wants to help me, but I did not have the money, he said.
