Mozambique President Daniel Francisco Chapo has rallied the Mambas ahead of their Round of 16 clash against the Super Eagles at the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, announcing a substantial cash incentive for victory. In a message issued on Thursday, January 1, to the players and coaching staff, President Chapo praised Mozambiques group-stage performance and congratulated the team for reaching the knockout phase. He described the feat as unprecedented and a source of national pride, commending the squads courage, discipline and determination.
