Two brothers were crushed to d3ath in Obegu-Aba, Ozibo, in Ebonyi Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.m The accident occurred around 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 1, 2026. According to an eyewitness, Mr. Uchenna, the deceased were riding on a motorcycle when a Toyota Corolla vehicle with Ebonyi State government registration number Ebonyi 241-EBGH, moving at high speed, crushed them. One of the legs of one of the deceased and one of the hands of the other were severed in the tragedy, while their Mate model motorcycle was damaged beyond repair. He added that the driver of the Corolla ran out of the car and fled the scene after the incident. He also disclosed that minutes later, a team of policemen from the state police command arrived at the scene and evacuated the bodies of the deceased. The officers also impounded the Corolla and took it to their station.
