She Comes with a Price Tag - Nigerian Woman Sets Conditions for Second Wives

Meet Buithat Hudu, a Nigerian woman who's not afraid to speak her mind when it comes to her marriage and who she wants as a second wife. In a bold Facebook post, Hudu laid down the law, stating that any woman vying for the position of second wife must come with a price tag - a brand new car to be exact. According to her, she's invested 10 good years of her life in her husband, supporting him emotionally, mentally, financially, and spiritually, and doesn't need someone who'll be a liability as a co-wife.

Hudu's message is clear: potential second wives should be high-value individuals who can bring something to the table, rather than just expecting to reap the benefits of her hard work. She writes, "I've already told him clearly, no belle-face candidates. We are not recruiting liabilities. If she doesn't have her own life, her own hustle, her own direction, abeg carry her go front." In other words, if you can't bring your own value to the relationship, then you're not welcome.

Hudu's reasoning is that she's done the hard part of building a life with her husband, and now it's time for someone else to contribute and help with the maintenance rather than just being a drain on their resources. She argues that in today's economy, expecting free benefits is unrealistic, and that anyone who wants to be a part of their lives should be willing to put in the effort
