A Night of Terror in Kaduna Village: Ten Residents Abducted by Armed Bandits
On Thursday, April 2, 2026, around 9:32 pm, a chilling incident unfolded in the quiet village of Unguwar Sabon-Titi, nestled along Katari-Hayin Dam in Kaduna State's Kachia Local Government Area. Armed bandits stormed the village, abducting no fewer than ten residents in a brazen attack. According to eyewitness accounts, the bandits targeted a compound, whisking away seven family members who were part of one family. They then moved on to a neighboring house, taking three more residents captive.
The attack, which was carried out with an eerie silence, suggests that the bandits were attempting to avoid drawing attention to themselves. However, once the victims were safely outside the village, the bandits let loose with a barrage of bullets. Mr Markus Yakubu, a resident of Katari, confirmed the incident to Daily Trust, revealing the shocking scale of the attack. "The bandits came in a large number and surrounded the neighbor's house before some of them entered the compound and whisked away people," he explained.
