In a heart-wrenching turn of events, the Eboma family is calling for justice after the untimely passing of their beloved daughter, Etunim Henrieta Ebere Sunday. A mother of three, Etunim's life was cut tragically short at the hands of her husband, Ebere Sunday, who allegedly subjected her to prolonged domestic abuse. Speaking to Ika Newspaper, the family's patriarch, Mr. Friday Eboma, shared his sorrow and outrage over the loss, revealing that Ebere Sunday's actions were motivated by a desire to be with another woman, who he claimed was pregnant with his child.
According to Etunim's family, it was only after her passing that they discovered the extent of the abuse she suffered in her marriage. Her children reported that their father had locked her inside the house and beaten her with a Lister generator belt on January 23, 2026. This brutal incident left Etunim in a fragile state of health, and she was in and out of illness until she eventually succumbed to her injuries on March 24, 2026.
