Graphic Bodycam Footage Reveals Tiger Woods' Dramatic DUI Arrest
Recently, the Martin County Sheriff's Office made public the first bodycam footage of golf icon Tiger Woods being taken into custody after a DUI incident. The 50-year-old sports legend was involved in a high-speed crash on Friday, March 27, while attempting to pass another vehicle on Jupiter Island. During the incident, Woods' SUV rolled over, and police discovered two opioid pills in his pocket, leading to his arrest.
The released video footage shows Woods on one knee, looking visibly unsteady beside the road. When questioned by an officer, Woods shares his account of the accident, saying, "I looked down at my phone, and all of a sudden... boom!" He explains that he clipped the back of a pressure washer trailer, causing his Range Rover to roll onto its side. As medical professionals tend to his injuries, an officer asks if Woods is comfortable, to which he responds with a seemingly nonchalant "Yeah, yeah."
The dramatic footage also captures Woods' behavior during transport to the jail, where he's seen yawning wildly before briefly dozing off in the back seat of the police car.
