Lost Teenager from Spain Discovered in Kano Village After Going Missing Along Jos-Saminaka Road

A dramatic reunion is on the horizon for 16-year-old Alex Ansol, a teenager from Spain who went missing during a trip to Nigeria. According to the Kano State Police Command, Alex was found wandering in Dadin Kowa village, located in the Doguwa Local Government Area of Kano State.

The police spokesperson, CSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, revealed that Alex had arrived in Nigeria on March 30, 2026, with four relatives from Spain via Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport in Abuja. However, it's believed that Alex lost contact with his relatives along the Jos-Saminaka road.

Fortunately, Alex is safe and sound, and the police are now working to reunite him with his family. In a statement, Kiyawa explained that Alex's relatives were initially unaware of his whereabouts, but the police are making efforts to locate them. Alex, who is thin and black with no tribal marks, speaks English fluently and claims to be from Barsa Rub, Opp 46 Stadium, Spain.

The police are urging anyone with information about Alex's relatives or family to come forward. If you have any information, you can contact the Office of the PPRO at the Kano State Command Police Command or reach out to the Divisional Police Officer at Doguwa Division Kano via 07038363421.
