A tragic incident has shaken the Kokami village in Katsina State, Nigeria, after a heated argument between two men took a deadly turn. According to Abubakar Sadiq, spokesperson for the Katsina State Police command, the altercation between KC Joe and Ibrahim Auwal escalated quickly, resulting in Joe stabbing Ibrahim Khalil Auwal. Despite receiving medical attention at Abdullahi Makama Hospital in Dabai, Joe sadly passed away.
This devastating news sparked a violent mob reaction from some youths in the community, who attacked and brutally killed Joe, even going so far as to set his body ablaze along the highway. In response to this heinous act, the police have arrested four suspects in connection with the mob action.
State Commissioner of Police Ali Fage has strongly condemned the incident, urging the public to seek help from the authorities rather than taking matters into their own hands. He emphasized the importance of remaining law-abiding and assured that the case will be thoroughly investigated to ensure those responsible face justice.
