A Devastating Incident Rocks Kaduna Community: Six Children and Their Mother Fall Prey to Bandits
In a heart-wrenching incident, a mother and her six children have been taken hostage by bandits in the Kurmin-Uwa area near Janjala community, located within the Kagarko Local Government Area of Kaduna State. This latest development comes just 24 hours after a similar incident occurred in Unguwar Sabon-Titi, Kachia LGA, where seven family members and three others were abducted by bandits.
According to eyewitness Ibrahim Shehu, a resident of Kagarko town, the incident unfolded at around 10:23 pm on Friday. Shehu revealed that when the bandits arrived in the area, they directly targeted a specific house, whisking away seven people in the process. The victims included the mother and six children, identified as Ladi Malachy, Patience Malachy, Promise Malachy, Inama Malachy, Peter Malachy, and Aboyi Malachy.
A community leader, who prefers to remain anonymous, also confirmed the latest abduction. He stated that after receiving a distress call about the invasion of bandits into the community, which is approximately two kilometers away from Kagarko town, he promptly alerted the security operatives. Although he is uncertain about their response, the community leader expressed concern over the continuous bandit attacks on several villages under Kagarko LGA. To date,
