The student from Benue State had been eagerly awaiting the arrival of 50 buses sent by the Benue State Government to transport students like him out of Jos following the tragic loss of at least 28 lives to bandits on Palm Sunday. According to Sufi, the students had been informed that a massive evacuation effort was underway, complete with 100 security guards to ensure their safe passage.
Sufi shared his harrowing experience, which began with a message on their group chat committee for Tiv students. The committee announced that the governor of Benue State had sent 50 buses and 100 security guards to escort the students back home. Overjoyed by the news, Sufi and his fellow students were eager to leave Jos behind. However, their excitement was short-lived.
On the day of the supposed evacuation, Sufi received messages from his friends, OLAMIDE FELIX and ZEYEANI, who were anxiously waiting for the buses to arrive.
