Protests against Islamic Regime sweep Iran (watch video) as At least 42 k!lled

Twelve days of nationwide protests in Iran have led to 42 deaths, dozens of injuries, and more than 2,200 arrests, according to human rights groups. The demonstrations, driven by economic woes, have spread to all 31 provinces. The protests, which began late last month, were triggered by a severe economic crisis and the rapid devaluation of the Iranian rial. Demonstrations have occurred in major cities including Tehran, Mashhad, and Shiraz, as well as in areas with significant ethnic populations, such as the predominantly Turkish-majority provinces of Tabriz and Ardabil. Authorities have reportedly cut internet and phone services, and injuries have been attributed to pellet shots and plastic bullets. The nationwide protests in Iran have claimed the lives of 42 people, according to a report by the US-based Iran Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA). The agency stated that 34 protesters and eight security force members were k!lled, with dozens injured and 2,217 individuals detained across all 31 provinces of the country. Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump issued a warning to Iran on Thursday, stating, "If they start k!lling people... we're going to hit them very hard."  Iranian journalist and activist, Masih Alinejad has been sharing videos showing events as they occur. She wrote: "47 years ago, the Islamic Republic took our rights and turned a nation into hostages. Today people have nothing left to lose, they rise. Iran is rising."  See videos below.  Tehran todayA sea of people in the streets. The patience of the Iranian people is over.
