Two-year-old young man d!es after falling into well in Kano



 A tragic incident has claimed the life of a two-year-old boy in Kwankwaso town, Madobi Local Government Area of Kano State, after he fell into an open well. In a statement issued by the Public Relations Officer of the Kano State Fire Service, Alhaji Saminu Abdullahi, he said the incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon, January 7. He said the rescue team was promptly dispatched to the scene, but the boy later d!ed despite efforts to save him. He said, We received an emergency call from the Deputy Director, Fire Service, Rabiu Garba, at about 12:15 p.m. that a boy had drowned in a well, and we immediately sent our rescue team to the scene. The victims body was handed over to Umar Shehu of the Madobi Police Division, and authorities have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident. In a separate incident on the same day, a 28-year-old man, Suleiman Sani, also drowned after falling into a well in Karofawa Yan Kifi Village, Ghari Local Government Area. He was found unconscious and later confirmed de@d by his parents. The Kano State Fire Service extended its condolences to both families and urged residents to ensure that wells are securely covered to prevent similar tragedies in the future. .
