Lagos Woman Caught with N3 Million Worth of Cocaine in India

A shocking arrest was made in Secunderabad, India on April 3, 2026 when the Drugs Task Force (DTF) caught a Nigerian woman red-handed with 7.5 grams of cocaine. The accused, identified as James Tesling Yamyunal, had brought the illicit substance from Mumbai and was stopped near the Sunshine Hospital in the Paradise area of Secunderabad after a tip-off from the authorities. It's believed that Yamyunal had purchased the cocaine in Mumbai for a mere Rs 15,000 per gram, planning to double her profit by selling it in Hyderabad for Rs 30,000 per gram.

The investigation revealed that Yamyunal's stash was worth a staggering Rs 2.35 lakh, which is approximately N3 million. The accused has since been handed over to the Secunderabad Excise Station for further proceedings. This arrest serves as a reminder of the ongoing efforts to combat the illicit drug trade in India.
