The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has fired a warning shot at the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), calling for the immediate removal of Chairman Joash Amupitan. This move comes after INEC de-recognized the ADC leadership, a decision that has left the party fuming. National Chairman David Mark laid the blame squarely at the feet of the ruling All Progressives Congress, accusing them of using INEC to undermine opposition parties. The party's leadership was dealt a blow on Wednesday, when INEC announced plans to delist key ADC figures, including Mark himself, National Secretary Rauf Aregbesola, and others. He believes that the real goal is to engineer a situation where President Bola Tinubu becomes the sole viable choice for Nigerians by 2027, despite the country's dire economic and security situation. Mark's words are laced with frustration and concern, as he warns that the agenda is clear: to create a situation where Tinubu emerges as the only option for the people, despite the widespread suffering and wanton killings plaguing the country.
