Tragedy Struck in Uganda as a Daycare Centre Becomes a Scene of Unimaginable Horror
On Thursday, April 2, 2026, a horrific event shook the community in Ggaba Parish, Makindye Division, Kampala, Uganda, when a knife-wielding man stormed into the Ggaba Early Childhood Day school, leaving a trail of devastation in his wake. The suspect, Christopher Okello, managed to gain access to the premises by posing as a parent, a chilling ruse that allowed him to carry out his heinous act.
According to police spokeswoman Racheal Kawala, Okello attacked 14 children, tragically taking the lives of four young victims - three boys and a girl - who were just a few years old.
