Tragedy struck south-east London when a 14-year-old boy lost his life in a senseless shooting on Thursday afternoon. The incident unfolded on Lord Warwick Street in Woolwich at approximately 3:40 pm, with paramedics rushing to the scene in an attempt to save the teenager's life. Unfortunately, their efforts were in vain, and the boy was pronounced dead at the scene.
The authorities were quick to respond, with specialist officers supporting the boy's family and two 14-year-old boys and an 18-year-old man being taken into custody on suspicion of murder.
